Built in the 19th century as a sugar refinery, the neo- classical Grand Hotel Waterloo is situated 3.5 kilometres from Waterloo's famous battlefield. The 79 modern guestrooms are decorated in warm earth tones, and include wireless Internet, televisions, minibars, hair dryers, and tea and coffee making facilities.
Guests can dine in the brasserie-style restaurant, set in the hotel's historic cellar vaults and extending onto the terrace, or enjoy historically-named cocktails (Bonaparte, Napoléon and Blücher) in the library-style bar.
